UnderBaked

About UnderBaked

Lakefield, Ontario, Canada

A small electronics company making kits for people who build with 3D printers.

Why the name

Our kits come out of the oven a little early. The electronics are done, and the finished product gets baked by you, on your printer, in whatever shape you like.

What we're about

3D printing has made it possible for almost anyone to design and print a beautiful enclosure. Putting working electronics inside one is still the hard part: choosing parts, laying out a board, soldering, and hoping it all fits.

UnderBaked handles that part. We design the electronics, publish the details you need to build around them, and share project designs you can use or learn from. You spend your time on the design.

Who's behind it

UnderBaked was started by Chris Rice, an embedded hardware and firmware engineer with more than 16 years of experience designing audio electronics. He has also taught embedded systems at Fleming College.
